Lo-Fat Green
Beans
By Rand E. Creitz
I have always referred to Lo-Fat as a deceased Chineese
gentleman that I didn't much like anyway, but you can come up with
some good recipes.
1 mess of green beans (how much is a mess? How much do you like them?) or 2 cans, washed and drained.
1
small or 1/2 large onion, chopped or sliced
2 tbsp beef boullion or 2 cubes
salt
Place washed and snapped beans, or
canned beans in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Add boullion and onion, cover and cook until they are as done
as you want them, tasting broth and adjusting salt. This has NO added fat, but
plenty of flavor.
Enjoy!
