Russian Dressing

 

 

¼ cup sugar

1/4 cup water

1 ½ tsp. celery seed

½ tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

½ tsp paprika

2 ½ tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tbsp vinegar

1 cup salad oil

½ cup catsup

¼ cup grated onion

 

 

 

 

 

Cook the sugar and water until it thickens into a syrup. Cool.

 

Mix remaining ingredients, beat in syrup. Chill.

 

Makes about 2 cups.
